Two world class architecture firms worked together to create The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa. Hornberger and Worstell from San Francisco is the design architect and OZ Architecture from Boulder, Colorado is the architect of record.

Terrasan

Terrasan Planning and Landscape Architecture provided design services for The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa. For over 20 years Terrasan has provided services that include land use planning for recreation-orientated communities with emphasis on golf and ski resorts located throughout the Rocky Mountains and Desert Southwest.

Doppelmayr CTEC

Doppelmayr CTEC is North America's leading manufacturer of ropeway transportation equipment. The new Riverfront Express Gondola connects the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa to Beaver Creek Mountain. The Gondola is located adjacent to the hotel and connects with the Lower Beaver Creek Express lift located in Beaver Creek Landing.

Restaurant Avondale

Thomas Salamunovich, Chef/Owner of Vail's popular Larkspur Restaurant, opened his newest endeavor: Avondale, in the new Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain in Avon. Salamunovich's New American cuisine emphasizes purity of ingredients, simplicity of preparation, and abundance of flavor.

In addition to the full-service restaurant, an adjacent Market serves customers on the go. Espresso drinks, breakfast items, house-made sandwiches and prepared entrees are available. Market Avondale shares the same ideals as Avondale, featuring regional artisanal products.

Spa Anjali

The Westin Riverfront's Spa Anjali — one of Colorado's first eco-friendly spas — offers signature treatments inspired by the healing traditions from the mountains, specifically the Rockies, Alps and Himalayas. Unique services include the Red Clover and Mountain Honey Body Mask, the Glacial Mud Body Wrap and the Himalayan Journey to Serenity.
